Job  Title:        Engine  engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES:

l                  Ensure  that  all  statutory  and  Company’s  regulations  and  standards  relating  to  the  maintenance,  preventive  maintenance,  alteration  and  inspection  of  engines  and  components  are  complied  with  and  adhered  to,  and  that  any  such  work  undertaken  by  the  Company  is  carried  out  to  approved  standards;

l                  Assist  team  leader  in  ensuring  that  work  performed  on  customer’s  engine  and  components  meets  their  requirements  in  terms  of  quality,  cost  and  turn-around-time;

l                  Ensure  customer  satisfactions  are  achieved  through  effective  communication  and  keeping  effective  team  relationships  with  departments  within  company  so  that  the  customer’s  requirements  are  understood  and  satisfied;

l                  Provide  a  direct  link  to  customer  for  technical  requirements;

l                  Provide  customer  support  on  establishment  of  work  scopes  of  engines  to  meet  customers’  requirement;

l                  Establish  and  implement  procedures  within  the  management  policies

l                  Implement  the  necessary  corrective  actions  resulting  from  the  quality  compliance  monitoring  and  audit  programs;

l                  Responsible  for  the  timely  assessment  of  aspects  of  the  implementation  and  monitoring  of  engine  airworthiness  documents  and  technical  documents  such  as  AD  /  SB  /  SL,  etc.  to  ensure  the  airworthiness  of  the  fleet  maintenance  of  economic  goals;

l                  Responsible  for  writing  /  proofreading  /  issue  and  monitor  the  engine  side  project  instructions  (EO)  /  Memorandum  of  Understanding  (MEMO);

l                  Arise  in  the  engine  responsible  for  the  reliability  of  alarm,  a  major  troubleshooting  and  emergencies  repeated  failures,  the  timely  development  of  solutions

l                  According  to  engine  conditions,  repair  planning  and  the  engine  stand-alone  status,  maintenance  history,  to  determine  the  scope  of  repair  work  the  preparation  of  the  repair  tasks.

l                  Condition  monitoring  of  the  engine,  on-demand  to  take  corrective  measures;  engine  parts  life  time  monitoring.

  

QUALIFICATIONS:

l                  Major  in  aero  engine  or  engineering  or  mechanics  with  bachelor  degree.

l                  Minimum  8  years’  experience  in  airlines  or  engine  overhaul  industry,  strong  technical  background,  with  at  least  three  years  experience  in  customer  technical  support  role.

l                  Holds  a  license  for  maintenance  personnel  FAA  A&P  or  CCAR66,  B767/737NG  Aircraft  type  maintenance  experience  is  preferred

l                  Familiar  with  CF6-80&PW4000/CFM56-  7  engine  overhauls  process  and  overhaul  market.

l                  Good  data  analysis  skill  ability,  customer-oriented.  

l                  Able  to  analyze  and  solve  problem.

l                  Good  time  management  capability.

l                  Ability  to  work  cohesively  in  a  team.

l                  Good  English  capability  in  listening,  speaking,  reading  and  writing.

l                  Good  computer  skill.

l                  Familiar  with  process  of  engine  overhaul  and  components  repair.

l                  Familiar  with  CAAC  regulations.
