Manages  employees  and  managers  performing  activities  across  Quality  Assurance,  Quality  Control,  Supplier  Quality,  and  Safety  Management.  Develops  and  maintains  relationships  and  partnerships  with  Regulatory  Authorities,  leadership  team,  customers,  peers,  suppliers  and  direct  reports.  Manages,  develops  and  motivates  employees  and  managers.  Focal  person  and  point  of  contact  with  China,  U.S.,  and  international  customers  and  with  all  Regulatory  Authorities  with  regard  to  quality,  certification  and  safety.

¨    Manages  employees  and  managers  performing  activities  to  ensure  product  quality,  regulatory  compliance,  environmental,  health  and  safety  requirements  are  met  including  documentation  compliance,  site  inspections,  interfacing  with  regulatory  agencies,  corrective  actions  and  assessing  risks

¨    Develops  and  executes  integrated  departmental  plans,  policies  and  procedures  and  provides  input  on  departmental  business  and  technical  strategies,  goals,  and  objectives.  

¨    Provides  leadership,  oversight  and  approval  of  technical  approaches,  products  and  processes

¨    Ensure  the  quality  system  conforms  to  established  company,  government  and  international  regulatory  agency  standards  and  guidelines

¨    Responsible  for  certification  activities  and  liaison  with  the  CAAC  and  foreign  regulatory  agencies  -  FAA,  EASA,  JCAB,  etc.    Focal  person  and  coordination  with  China,  U.S.,  and  international  customers  and  with  all  Regulatory  Authorities

¨    Acquires  resources  for  department  activities  and  leads  process  improvements.

Prefer  a  Bachelor’s  degree  in  related  field  and  15  years  of  professional  aviation  experience.
