Senior Account and Business Development Manager
职位描述
Reports ToAAAA(职位人名) Marketing and Sales Director, TCCTAirport Systems and dotted line to Leo Leong, Sales Director HBS North Asia
Position Purpose/Summary
Brief summary of position’s purpose or role – the primary objective of the role
This position is responsible for managing the existing and new airport accounts in North Asia, building relationships to all levels of their organisation and ensuring an active pursuit of project leads. He or she is also the key contact to the CAAC, AVIC and other public bodies in the field.
The position is accountable for developing new business opportunities for TCCT’s airport lighting and guidance systems in that market. For this he/she will build up a thorough understanding of the market forces, customers’s needs and the regulatory and competitive environment. In an “Airport Vertical” approach, the role will be spearhead for local HBS teams in selling the whole range of Honeywell’s airport offerings.
The Account and Marketing Manager will work closely with the Sales, Marketing, and Technology functions in TCCTBuilding Solutions, and equally with local and global functions in other HBS businesses and TCCTAerospace.
Key Areas of Responsibility
Describe the key tasks / activities that are necessary to fulfil the purpose of the role – remember these actions should not be key “goals” – these should be reviewed and allocated annually as part of the performance development program
? Establish contacts to major players in the market: airports, local, regional and national authorities, consultants, construction companies.
? Coordinate tenders and work with technology, leadership, and finance to prepare bid packages. Close follow-up with customer before, during and after tender. Accountability for customers throughout the whole project cycle.
? Find and work on influencers and decision makers early in the process, bring in other functions as required
? Understand investment plans of North Asian airports, timing and scope.
? Carry out intense Voice-Of-The-Customer interviews in order to deepen understanding of the needs of various customer segments, clarify value of Honeywell’s and competitive offerings to customers.
? Cooperate with the various HBS functional, regional and local teams to ensure all relevant information is collected and disseminated, leads are well prepared and we can benefit from knowledge in all relevant TCCTbusinesses.

? Expansion of market penetration: clear view on upcoming projects, regulatory, technological and economic drivers. In-depth knowledge of potential customers and the market in general.

Qualifications/ Experience/ Knowledge
-Job Specifications
General (Define as “Essential” or “Preferred” and Qualify Statements as “Excellent”, “Good / Proficient” or “Basic)”
-Education / Qualifications
? Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, additional business degree a plus
? Qualification as Pilot, Flight Engineer, air traffic controller preferred
-Experience
? 10+ years in a account management or business development role
? Profound knowledge of the airports business in China and contacts into regulatory bodies and airports
? Experience in construction, airline, airport or similar industry
-Professional Skills / Knowledge
? Strong drive to sell and execute
? Very strong customer focus
? Proven track record of sales success in this or similar industry
? Strong networking skills both externally and internally to influence and get support for bid.
? Profound understanding of value-marketing, customer segmentation, market analysis
? Demonstrated ability to communicate and influence at all levels across internal and external stakeholders involving solid relationship building
? Excellent organisation and planning skills
? Be well presented, articulate and professional in your approach
